EU-wide recognition - Licence & Accreditation
The MediCampus Europeo - MCE and all its study programs (classified up to MQF Level 7) are accredited by the Malta Further and Higher Education Authority (MFHEA). The MFHEA is a full member of the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA).

International recognition
Medical studies at MCE lead to a degree in human medicine, which entitles the holder to obtain a license to practice medicine throughout the EU and in many other countries and is fully equivalent to the medical examinations and to human medicine degrees from all other EU countries.
Moreover, on the basis of the EU Directive on the Recognition of Professional Qualifications (2005/36/EC), this qualification is automatically recognized. An additional examination is not required. The degree thus opens the way for MCE graduates to practice as doctors throughout the EU.
European Credit Transfer System
The study program offered in Malta by the MediCampus Europeo uses the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS), which ensures that academic achievements can be recognized and compared throughout Europe. A total of 360 ECTS points is earned during the 6-year study program. Each academic year contains 60 ECTS points.
The Degree is automatically recognized throughout all European countries and can also be recognized in the USA and Canada.
