The criteria for admission to the MediCampus Europeo
The criteria for admission to the MediCampus Europeo have been created in order to help the Admissions Office to identify those students, that have the predispositions to do university-level work and to assign them to programs that are appropriate to their academic strengths to ensure that they are successfully realizing their full academic potential.
We know our students come from all over the world and from various background, having varied academic skills, experiences, interests and talents. The Admissions Office thus aims to create a student body, which will give each student an opportunity to share their knowledge, gather knowledge from other students and this way grow as a member of international medical community.
General admission requirements
General admission requirements vary depending on whether you are an EU citizen. If yes, and you hold a higher education entrance qualification, no specific average grade is required for you to apply.
All you have to do, is provide us with a high-school diploma. If you are a NON-EU citizen, you will have to contact the MCE Admissions Office to receive further information about the requirements of your high-school diploma which vary depending on the issuing country.
The admission procedure at MCE
Applicants, who have already completed a part of their studies on a different accredited university and would like to apply to MCE, may be exempted from respective courses in the program they attend at MCE, thus reducing the period of study to obtain their degrees. This amount depends on the current conditions and in order for this amount to be evaluated, applicant must submit a copy of their transcripts to the Admissions Office.
The admission procedure at MCE consists of written application documents and a written admission test on English, Biology and Chemistry. This procedure does not require a high school diploma to begin with and thus can be carried out while still in the last year of school. The admission test can be completed online.
Admission test
The admission test for the degree course in Medicine consists of 75 multiple-choice questions on biology (50) and chemistry (25) with four response options and both areas being equally weighted. The students have 90 minutes to finish the test. The goal of this admission test is to pick the students with strong scientific skills and the highest potential for a successful career in Medicine.
